With Magnolia Private Party Stylist — Joy's 17 Birthday

Together with Magnolia Private Party Stylist, Sopha & Co. took part in turning Satoo at Shangri-La, Jakarta suitable for Joy's 17th birthday party celebration. We tried to translate Joy's love for glitters into stylish party decoration appropriate for the eventful day.

We were there to witness the beautiful smile from a gorgeous butterfly. She was surrounded by her beloved families and friends as they share the joy in laughter, music and..... selfies.

My Little Pony Birthday Party

I love this theme! This time I helped setting up for my cutie little niece third birthday party theme "My Little Pony." I especially love the rainbow backdrop and the circular fans we have, those decorations are really simple to do but look fabulous.

Swan Lake Birthday

My girl is a true ballerina. She loves ballet so much and dance beautifully for someone her age. When, she asked me if she could invited some of her friends for her 5th birthday, I said "yes" and that we should make a "swan lake birthday party" theme. It was suppose to be a tiny and very intimate party with 6 of her closest friends, but somehow the guest list added up and it went double (though still considered a small party).

Mommy was the party planner and decorator, Daddy was the chef, Cie-Cie Angel made the birthday cake & homemade cookies, Xi-Xi Lusi decorated the cupcakes and everything else. It was the work of a village and we made it fun! There were pretty tutus, crowns, necklace, bubble play, and pinata. Looking at everyone's happy faces especially hers, has brought me such joy and pride.
I love you my "not so little" ballerina.

Happy 70th Birthday

Doesn't black and yellow make a great color combination?
I have been waiting to work with these colors and a 70th year birthday theme celebration
seems like the perfect occasion for it.
Here we have the welcome poster, tea & coffee labels, and packaging for Om Halim's birthday.

Black Glamour 17th Birthday

Black and gold glamour and Anna Sui were some of the points she made when she told me how she wants her party too look like. You know how important 17th birthday is for a girl! How about a chocolate bar invitation for a change? I thought it was a brilliant idea compared to the usual paper and envelope — and it's a sweet treat for the tooth too.

Hello Kitty Themed Birthday

Last July I had the chance to helped work on my dearest niece's second birthday party, a pink and red Hello Kitty themed party. We made a small team and set out to build and decorate the sweet table ourselves. All of us had to figure out how to paint and construct the back drop and apparently it was not an easy do. To go with the theme the girls were given tutus and the boys were to wear a red bow ties.  Check it out, a team member also managed to prepare Hello Kitty bento box for the kids. The kitty was definitely there everywhere you look!

Why Is Angry Bird So Damn Popular?

We are among those who wonder too... Below is an interesting article we found on the web:

Angry Birds, the two-year old gaming app from developer Rovio, has been downloaded more than 300 million times to date and is on track to reaching its one billion downloads, according to Rovio CEO Peter Vesterback. The franchise has turned Rovio into a reported $1 billion company (on par with JetBlue).
Clearly there's a demand for kitschy bird-catapulting games. According to the infographic below, created by Ask Your Target Market, single, young men are "most likely to fall victim to its allure" and start down a path of time-wasting like no other.
That's no small accomplishment for a startlingly simple game with a broad franchise. Starting out as a free, ads-free iPhone app in 2009, Angry Birds has expanded to free and paid versions for Android, Windows Phone 7, Symbian, Maemo, PC/Mac, Sony PS3/PSP, and Roku hardware. There are alos plans to launch on various Nintendo consoles, Microsoft Xbox, and BlackBerry PlayBook as well as a version that takes advantage of near-field communications (NFC).

The Angry Bird Frenzy has caught among small children too. Barnie and Debo are being replaced by it. Sopha & Co. is now receiving order for Angry Bird Party.
